Who are Active Approved Inspectors?
Active Approved Inspectors are an established company aiming to be at the forefront of Building Regulations approval services in the North West and the Midlands. We have been approved by the Construction Industry Council as a Corporate Approved Inspector.
This means that we can approve plans and building work for compliance with the Building Regulations 2000. We offer a high quality service, tailored to your needs, responsive to the demands of your building project, low on bureaucracy and very approachable.
Active Approved Inspectors are currently Mike Wood BSc (Hons) MBEng and Tom Raftery BSc (Hons) MRICS. Both are qualified and experienced surveyors - between them they have in excess of 25 years Building Regulations experience, with several years in addition in commercial surveying.

Tom Raftery BSc (Hons) Building Surveying, Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
Experience of both Building Surveying and Building Regulations work as a Chartered Building Surveyor. Recent projects include:
